We are seeking a Vice President that will manage a portfolio of clients and work alongside experienced lobbyists and professionals to advance the firm’s mission to provide service excellence in city and state government relations and to support the greater New York region. This high level position provides a talented and experienced professional with the opportunity to join an exciting and rapidly growing firm with a portfolio of leading clients, industries and leaders in all corporate and non-profit sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients
- Provide strategic direction and lead government relations campaigns
- Work with coalition stakeholders
- Draft and disseminate materials including legislative and funding memos
- Contribute to the firm’s business development
- Participate in conferences, political events, seminars and business events to manage clients, build contacts and represent the firm
- Support the firm’s partners and principals

- Relationship building with elected and appointed government officials and staff

- Familiarity with city and state legislative and budget processes
Qualifications, Training and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in government, government relations or public policy
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of Google platforms, Zoom, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience using social media
